NestAid - A Caregiver Platform
Nestaid is a technology-driven platform focused on creating accessible and user-centered digital support experiences

Overview
Nestaid is a caregiving platform designed to connect caregivers with elderly patients through an accessible and user-centered digital experience. I designed the caregiver-side mobile app to streamline daily caregiving tasks such as patient management, communication, scheduling, and activity tracking. The goal was to create an intuitive and supportive interface that reduces friction for caregivers while improving coordination and overall care experiences.
Problem Statement
Caregivers face challenges in efficiently managing their daily responsibilities, including tracking shifts, clocking in/out, and completing visit tasks. Existing systems are often time-consuming and not optimized for mobile, on-the-go usage, leading to missed actions, errors, and frustration. The opportunity was to design a mobile-first solution that simplifies these workflows and improves reliability.
Solution
The solution focused on creating an intuitive caregiver experience that simplifies daily workflows such as clocking in/out, managing visit logs, accessing schedules, completing care tasks, and adding notes efficiently. By reducing friction in shift tracking and task management, the app aimed to improve task completion rates, minimize operational errors, and enhance overall caregiver satisfaction and retention through a seamless and user-friendly interface.

User Research
To understand caregiver needs, I created a short questionnaire focusing on usage behavior, challenges, and work environments. Insights were gathered around:
Mobile usage comfort
Time pressure during shifts
Internet reliability
Pain points in existing workflows
Hypothesis
Caregivers often work under time pressure and need quick interactions
Simplicity and clarity are more important than feature richness
Internet connectivity can be inconsistent
Current systems can feel slow or confusing

Design System
Earlier the brand guidelines were different which changed all the components, pallete, iconography to a new design system in order to align with the current brand guidelines .

Future Vision
Nestaid’s long-term vision is to improve the quality of care delivery by strengthening the connection between caregivers and patients. By simplifying systems and reducing operational stress, it enables more time, attention, and empathy in real care interactions.
