A family scheduling and management app with a responsive website designed to help parents coordinate household activities, manage family appointments, and store important documents. The app allows families to organize daily routines, track children’s events, and receive smart reminders for upcoming tasks or document expirations —all in one centralized, easy-to-use platform
Problem Statement
Busy families often struggle to stay organized with multiple schedules, appointments, and important documents. Relying on scattered tools like calendars, chats, and paper notes often leads to miscommunication and missed deadlines. Parents need one simple, centralized way to manage everything in one place.
Solution
To design a family scheduling and management app (and responsive website) that helps parents coordinate activities, track appointments, and store important documents with timely reminders—making family life more organized, connected, and stress-free.
User Research : Summary
I conducted online surveys and short interviews with parents aged 30–45 to understand how they manage family schedules and tasks. Most rely on multiple tools like Google Calendar, chats, and paper notes, leading to confusion, missed appointments, and forgotten deadlines.
Parents expressed a need for a single, easy-to-use app to coordinate activities, track appointments, and store important documents. They also valued reminders and shared access for all family members.
These insights revealed an opportunity to create a centralized, intuitive solution that helps families stay organized and connected.
Design System
FamHub's visual identity is built around blue, yellow, and white. Blue establishes trust and reliability, yellow adds warmth and positivity, and white creates a clean, accessible foundation. Together, they create a family-friendly experience that feels both organized and welcoming
Future Vision
FamHub can evolve into a unified family ecosystem that strengthens communication, coordination, and emotional connection across generations. In the future, it could integrate shared calendars, health updates, and AI-assisted reminders to help families stay connected not just socially, but in daily life and care responsibilities.
